Christmas Day 2012

The last couple of years for Christmas, the boys got one "big" present and then a few smaller ones.  Well this year, no one really wanted a "big" present so they got a bunch a presents to open under the tree this year.  They of course, got way too much as usual, but they loved all of their gifts.  Ky's present from Santa was a Batmobile. Jayden's present from Santa was a Ninjago lego set.  And, Talan's gift from Santa was a remote control helicopter.

Seeing their faces on Christmas morning is priceless.  They are so excited!  Even though, Jarrad and I are exhausted when they get up we try to enjoy it; knowing if won't be too long before they don't believe in Santa anymore. :(

Jarrad and I were both spoiled this year for Christmas!  I got a bracelet and a necklace and perfume.  Jarrad got a new car! A Subaru Impreza WRX to be exact. He also got new running headphones and a new coat to wear to work.  Oh yeah, Jarrad got a new job at Zimmer and now only has a 10 minute commute to work!!!  We had some big, exciting changes this year!

Merry Christmas 2012!!!

This is at Grandma and Grandpa Lipply's house.  They are so excited to open up the big present. (A basket ball shooting game)

Christmas Break fun...

Things us Asay's do when we have snow, riding lawn mower, and a sled.  The kids LOVED this!!  It was a little difficult for our mower to keep traction, so we eventually moved it to the snow covered road in our neighborhood.

And, I was a little jealous of the fun, so I took a few rides myself.  I had to admit...it was fun.  Times like this, you realize you don't need to spend a ton of money to have a good time. It is never boring at our house and I LOVE IT!

Church Nativity Program

Our primary this year decided to do a play about the Nativity for our ward Christmas party.  Some wonderful ladies in our ward worked really hard and made some incredible costumes for the children to wear.  Talan was a soilder, Kylen a shepherd and Jayden was a wise man.  They all did a great job!  Talan might be our movie star as he was very convincing when the men fell to the earth. LOL  Kylen like his costume, but his head got hot at the end and he was ready to take it off.

I just can't get over how cute they looked!  I love my boys.

Kylen's Preschool Program

Presby Preschool does Christmas programs every year with the kids.  Each class does a couple of songs and a bible verse.  It is really adorable.  Kylen was a shepherd in the program.  He was actually supposed to be a cow and was not happy about that, so Mrs. Conley let him be a Shepherd. Gotta love that kid. =)

He's in the middle. You can see his red and blue stripes on his shirt.
 He's waving to us here.

He is getting big so fast!  I can't believe he will be 5 this summer!!

Christmas tree adventures...

Every year our family gets a real Christmas tree.  We usually head up to Goshen and pick one out, but this year we heard about a Christmas tree farm that you can cut your own tree down.  It is in Akron, IN about 30 minutes away from us.  It wasn't freezing out, so we went there.  It was a blast!  The kids had a great time picking out the tree.

This is the boys just as we got here.
After looking around for about half and hour we found our tree!!

Jarrad hard at work with the hand saw.

They had a tractor that came around and picked people up so we didn't have to walk too far with our tree...so nice.
Kylen just loves Christmas time and that santa hat.
 Our beautiful tree all decorated!
They wanted to do a silly face one...except Ky, I guess.

It was a lot of fun and we plan to head back there next year.  Merry Christmas 2012!

Happy 36th Birthday Jarrad!!!

This young man turned 36 November 18th! I made him his favorite, caramel pie, since he doesn't really like cake.  He got a gun (Glock) for his big day and he was super excited about it.  The boys and I also got him a Purdue hoodie, which he seemed to like.  Happy Birthday Jarrad!! You are now closer to 40 than 30. :)  Love you!

Basketball Time!

All of the boys decided they wanted to play basketball this winter.  Kylen and Talan played in November and Jayden just started the beginning of January.  Kylen was quite the player.  He made at least 4 baskets a game and had almost all the rebounds. He loved it!!  Talan did awesome as well.  He usually made a couple of baskets a game.  There were some kids in Talan's league that were doing layups and some crazy ball handling skills...only in Warsaw folks. :)

 Ky's mad dribbling skills.

 He had so much fun!

Here is Talan shooting a basket!

 There he goes...Go Talan!
 Jayden shooting a basket!
 Jayden
 Good Defense Jayden
Go Talan Drew!!
They all seem to love playing basketball!  It is getting so fun watching all of our boys play sports!  They do a great job and try so hard.  Trying to work out three schedules for three different kids is proving to be a big headache for Jarrad and I, but we wouldn't trade it for the world. :)
