Family Pictures 2013

Once again we had our family pictures taken by Darcy Holsopple.  She does such a wonderful job and also has reasonable prices.  We had these taken in the spring, but it felt like December.  I think it was around 40 degrees the day of our pictures.  Our boys were troopers to say the least.  We put on our coats between the takes. :)

Kylen turns 5 years old!!!

I cannot believe my baby turned 5!  Ky's 5th birthday was July 9th.  This year for his birthday, he wanted to take his best friend Ava bowling. So, we picked up Ava and went and bowled a couple of games. Then we came home and had cake and presents.  Jarrad made an incredible Superman cake for Ky, since he loves all super heroes.  It took him 3 hours! Even though, Ky is now old enough to attend Kindergarten we've decided to hold Ky back and put him in a full day preschool this year instead, but I'm still sad that my stay at home mom days are over.  It went by so fast!!!  I honestly cannot believe they are all old enough to be at school all day. 

Happy Birthday Kylen!!! You are the best 5 year old ever!! :)

T ball and Coaches Pitch

Kylen decided to give T-ball a try this year over soccer and Talan wanted to do coaches pitch.  Honestly, I would much rather watch soccer, but I want them to try everything to see what they like to do the most.  They both really enjoyed it, but I believe they will do soccer next year. ( I hope anyway).  Jayden was in track at the time and he doesn't really like playing baseball, so we didn't sign him up.

Kylen and Talan did an awesome job.  Honestly, both of them can throw better than me, not that it says a lot, but they did a great job.

Jayden is 10!!!

I know I say it every year, but seriously, where has the time gone?  Jayden turned 10 on May 31st.  This year he decided he wanted to take a few friends to see the movie "Epic".  So, that's what we did. :)  It was a cute movie and the boys had a great time!  Jarrad did an Epic themed cake for Jayden and once again did an awesome job.  Happy Birthday Jayden!!!  I cannot believe you are already 10 years old!!
