On February 8th, Talan turned 7 years old! He was super excited and had been counting down the days. On his actual birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Lipply came over for a little party and to open presents. Afterwards, we let Talan pick where he wanted to eat and he wanted to go to Applebees. That soon changed once we saw it was a long wait, so with Long John Silvers next door we decided to go there. The people there were so nice to him and even gave him a free pie.
His favorite present this year was a skateboard. He has been asking for one for a long time. Watch out X-games, here comes Talan. I'm not too fond of him skateboarding, but that's Talan for you...no fear whatsoever! He also got roller blades, a game for his DS, game for the PS3, a model Mustang and a Gymkanna remote control car. Grandma and Grandpa Asay gave him money and Grandma and Grandpa Lipply got him a big Lego car. He was completely spoiled.
The day after his birthday, we let Talan have 3 boys from his class come over to our house. We took them to McDonald's play place and let them play and eat lunch. Afterwards, we had cake and presents. Talan wanted a Subaru STI cake this year, since it looks like Jarrad's car and once again, Jarrad did a great job. It was a very fun weekend for T man. Jarrad and I on the other hand were exhausted!
